An ultralight modern tribute to an exceptionally rare chronograph

The original Blancpain Air Command was produced by the venerable maker back in the mid-1950s with the intent of being adopted by the US Air Force — after all, Blancpain was already supplying dive watches to the US Navy. Fewer than twenty pieces are known to exist, but the legend of the Air Command remains a well-told story amongst Blancpain collectors.

Revived for the modern era, the new Blancpain Air Command Flyback adheres to the same 'Type XX' blueprint but does so with a state-of-the-art 5Hz Flyback chronograph calibre, a ceramic countdown bezel, and an expertly proportioned 42.5mm titanium case.
